About Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch, the second oldest town in South Africa, is known world wide for its educational, musical, cultural and sports facilities. The historic central town is among others home to the hundreds of national monuments, galleries, the Coetzenburg Sports Grounds, The Endler Concert Hall and the University of Stellenbosch. The town gently extends into the sought-after leafy suburbs of Mostertsdrift and Karindal with their exceptional views of the Stellenbosch Mountains. On the other side of town Dalsig, Brandwacht and Die Boord is near the Paul Roos Gymnasium, Bloemhof Girls High School and Rhenish and Eikestad Primary Schools, whilst also offering easy access to other amenities and the centre of town. The Stellenbosch Medi-Clinic in Die Boord offers the best in medical facilities. Onderpapegaaiberg in the north is a favourite with its big plots, parks and sense of space. Paradyskloof, nearest to Cape Town International and the False Bay coast, is within easy reach of the Technopark Commercial Development and just opposite the Stellenbosch Golf Course. Uniepark and Simonswyk are family favourites near the Stellenbosch High and Primary Schools. The De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate is about five minutes by car from the town centre and has established itself as a popular residential and golf development. Also providing in the ever-growing need for residential housing is the popular Welgevonden Security Estate on the outskirts of town. Set in a picturesque area with views over the Simonsberg Mountains, this estate attracts first-time buyers, smaller families and those wanting to move into a secure lock-up-and-go environment.

Stellenbosch Central
